Program Assistant - Central Intake
Part time permanent - 11.5 hours per fortnight | $29.57 per hour

Grampians Health Ballarat is seeking a Program Assistant (Administration) to join our Central Intake team on a part time permanent capacity.
As a Program Assistant with us you have the opportunity to support the efficient management of referrals to ensure our clients and consumers can access the care they need in a timely way.
As a Program Assistant in Central Intake, you will be part of a small friendly team primarily responsible for managing incoming referrals and ensuring they are directed to the correct areas of our organisation. This will include managing phone and email enquiries and entering referrals onto our patient administration database.
Skills and experience
A Program Assistant who joins our team will:
- be an excellent communicator, committed to working at the highest standard. This includes the ability to identify and solve problems constructively, listen, and relay information.
- be a hard worker, with excellent organisational skills, being able to adapt to competing demands.
- be efficient and accurate in data entry ensuring that referrals can be entered correctly and in a timely manner
- previous experience in administration or customer service in a health care environment will also be highly regarded.
