Project Manager

Fixed-Term Full-Time |40 Hours per week with a monthly ADO | 12-Month Contract

$46.99 per hour (HS5)

About the Role

The Capital Project Teams is seeking a suitably qualified Project Manager to join us. Reporting to the Senior Program Manager - Delivery, this role will be based predominately out of our Ballarat Campus, with the ability to work and travel across all Campuses when required.

The project manager will support the delivery of the current program of works, as well as future projects. Whilst this role reports into the delivery arm of the Capital Projects team, there will be an expectation to work across both Planning and Delivery from time to time.

Key Responsibilities

• Project manage the delivery of capital infrastructure projects to meet project objectives, budget and stakeholder expectations.
• Ensure all projects are delivered in accordance with the Australian Council on Health Care Standards, Commonwealth Aged Care Certification, Legislative requirements, Department Guidelines, Australian Standards, Building Codes and any other standard or guideline applicable to health service.
• Ensure all project works are compliant with federal, state and OHS legislation and guidelines.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop, implement and review health service planning and quality improvement activities

Skills & Experience

• Tertiary qualification in Construction/Project Management, Engineering or a Trade Background.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project Management, with an ability to highlight past accomplishments.
• Comprehensive working knowledge and understanding of applicable standards, codes and regulations; broad based knowledge of facilities systems and facilities trades personnel.
• Demonstrated experience in managing facility infrastructure and capital projects, financial budgets and works programs.
