About the role

As Project Lead within the Patient Support Unit, you'll drive initiatives that streamline referral pathways, improve patient navigation and support statewide surgical reform. What you’ll do
- Lead pathway redesign for planned surgery reform
- Spot improvement opportunities from GP referral to outpatient clinics
- Coordinate initiatives that lift patient access and experience
- Build strong relationships with clinical and non‑clinical stakeholders
- Apply project methods to deliver clear, measurable outcomes
Key Responsibilities
- Convert planned care priorities into projects and improvements
- Shape solutions through problem‑solve, analyse and recommend actions
- Keep project artifacts, reports and risks updated
- Partner with program leads to progress change
- Guide stakeholders through change and adoption
- Support navigation across the planned care journey
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Allied Health (AHPRA‑eligible) or surgical nursing
- Project capability across health service settings
- Skill in process design and operational improvement
- Confident with data capture and reporting tools
- Strong communicator who builds trust and influence
