About the Role

Join our Supply Services Purchasing team based in our Ballarat Office and play a key role in supporting the procurement and delivery of goods across Grampians Health. You’ll help ensure equipment and supplies are ordered efficiently, catalogued accurately, and delivered on time to meet internal client needs. 

  • Raise purchase orders and maintain supplier relationships
  • Support the procurement process with accurate documentation
  • Coordinate stock returns and updates to purchasing catalogues
  • Resolve invoice and payment queries with Accounts Payable
  • Provide expert technical support to internal purchasing systems

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and manage purchase orders for approval
  • Obtain supplier quotes and coordinate freight returns
  • Maintain up-to-date product and supplier knowledge
  • Update and manage the purchasing catalogue
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues
  • Provide leadership and technical guidance to the purchasing team

 

 

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualification or experience in procurement (preferred)
  • Strong Microsoft Office and intermediate computer skills
  • Knowledge of Epicor and ARM (Precise) systems a plus
  • Strong customer service focus and communication skills
  • Must hold a current Victorian Driver’s Licence
