About the Role

Grampians Health is seeking a motivated and organised Receptionist to support Diagnostic Services in Ballarat. This role provides front-line reception and administrative support across inpatient and outpatient services, contributing to smooth service delivery and positive patient experiences. Diagnostic Services include Cardiac Ultrasound, ECG, Pacemaker Checks, EEG and Pulmonary Function Testing.

 

Core duties

• Deliver high-quality customer service
• Support daily administrative operations
• Coordinate patient bookings and enquiries
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Support clinical and professional staff

 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage reception, phones and patient enquiries
• Schedule appointments and manage bookings
• Enter and maintain patient data and records
• Prepare patient documentation for reporting
• Liaise with doctors and health professionals
• Maintain confidentiality and infection control standards

 

Skills & Experience

• Experience in administration or reception roles
• Strong data entry and Microsoft Office skills
• Experience with IBA/PAS systems desirable
• Knowledge of hospital systems such as COMRAD advantageous
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
