About the Role
Join our Specialist Outpatient Clinics team in Ballarat! In this fast-paced role, you’ll plan, implement, and evaluate evidence-based nursing care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred healthcare. This position also provides opportunities to contribute to nursing leadership and shape the future of care within the Directorate.
- Deliver high-quality nursing care across medical and surgical streams
- Collaborate with patients, carers, and the community in healthcare planning
- Support evaluation and implementation of evidence-based clinical care
- Advocate for patients’ rights in line with relevant healthcare charters
- Drive innovation in sustainable, patient-centred care models
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for outpatient services
- Promote patient advocacy and engagement in care decisions
- Support the Nurse Unit Manager in clinical practice improvements
- Coordinate care within the multidisciplinary team
- Contribute to quality initiatives and continuous improvement
Skills & Experience
- Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration
- Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience
- Strong clinical knowledge in medical and surgical care
- Solid understanding of wound care and management
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
