About the Role
Join our Specialist Outpatient Clinics team in Ballarat! In this fast-paced role, you’ll plan, implement, and evaluate evidence-based nursing care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred healthcare. This position also provides opportunities to contribute to nursing leadership and shape the future of care within the Directorate.

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care across medical and surgical streams
  • Collaborate with patients, carers, and the community in healthcare planning
  • Support evaluation and implementation of evidence-based clinical care
  • Advocate for patients’ rights in line with relevant healthcare charters
  • Drive innovation in sustainable, patient-centred care models

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for outpatient services
  • Promote patient advocacy and engagement in care decisions
  • Support the Nurse Unit Manager in clinical practice improvements
  • Coordinate care within the multidisciplinary team
  • Contribute to quality initiatives and continuous improvement

 

Skills & Experience

  • Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience
  • Strong clinical knowledge in medical and surgical care
  • Solid understanding of wound care and management
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
