About the role

3 North is a Urology/Gynaecology ward, providing acute patient care to this group of patients, as well as to overflow general surgical and general medical patients. This ward consists of 23 in-patient beds, plus a treatment room for patients undergoing a trial of void or bladder instillations.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

• Current registration with AHPRA
• Recent Acute Surgical Experience (within the last 12 months)
• Ability to work a seven-day roster, including night duty shifts, as required by the unit.
• A background in Urological / Gynaecological Nursing desirable (within the last five years)
• Completion of a Graduate Year essential
• Intravenous Analgesic / Epidural competencies desirable

This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024 - 2028. The classification is Registered Nurse Grade 2 (YP3 - YP9) which ranges from $43.81 - $54.40 per hour.
