Residential Admissions & Finance Officer

Grampians Health is one of Victoria’s largest and newest regional health services, bringing together multiple sites to deliver high‑quality, accessible and compassionate care across the Grampians region. We are now seeking an experienced and values‑driven Residential Admissions & Finance Officer to join our Residential Services team.
About the Role
The Residential Services Admissions Officer plays a key role in supporting admissions to Residential Care. This includes preparing admission applications, completing Residential Care Agreements, and working closely with residents, families, and staff to ensure a smooth transition into care.
Key Responsibilities

Support residents and families through the admissions process, ensuring clear understanding of requirements, assessments, and financial obligations.

Maintain and update waiting lists, respite admissions, and related statistics.

Assist with asset assessments to determine financial status and liaise with the Residential Services Business Manager on financial matters.

Coordinate client meetings, facility viewings, and admissions with Directors of Nursing/Managers.

Collaborate with Social Workers, Case Managers, and Health Information Services to support timely and accurate admissions.
- Provide guidance to the Residential Finance Team and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
Skills & Experience

Proven customer service experience with a strong focus on supporting residents and families.

Knowledge of residential care processes, legislation, and admission requirements.

Strong organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer-based systems.
