About the Role
Grampians Health is seeking an experienced and strategically minded Senior Clinical Project Officer to lead complex, system wide clinical innovation and service improvement initiatives across the region.
As a senior member of the Clinical Innovation team, you will provide expert leadership in the design, delivery and evaluation of high impact projects that enhance clinical services, improve patient outcomes and embed sustainable, innovative models of care.
This role works closely with senior leaders, governance committees and multidisciplinary teams across Grampians Health and the Grampians Local Health Service Network. It is open to candidates based at any GH site.

What you’ll be doing
- Leading complex, high impact improvement projects across Grampians Health
- Providing expert advice on service redesign, diagnostics and innovative models of care
- Overseeing project planning, performance tracking and reporting
- Driving research, innovation and system wide change
- Building strong relationships with senior leaders, clinicians, consumers and external partners
- Leading Co-Design and consumer engagement
- Advising governance groups on KPIs, risks and evaluation frameworks
- Mentoring Clinical Project Officers and Project Support Officers, and building leadership capability across the team
What you’ll bring
- Tertiary qualification and registration in Nursing, Allied Health or Medical Science
- Qualifications in project management, health leadership, governance, public health, or service improvement desirable
- Experience with IHI/SCV improvement frameworks, and knowledge of digital and integrated models of care desirable
- Significant experience leading complex projects in large or multi-site health systems
- Strong conceptual thinking, innovation capability and problem-solving skills
- High level stakeholder engagement and the ability to influence senior leaders
- Demonstrated success in service redesign and delivering measurable outcomes
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft 365
