$48.44 to $66.09 per hour + salary packaging & super | Senior Mental Health Clinician - Ararat
80 hours per fortnight with a monthly ADO available | Full Time or Part Time considered
About the Role
Join the Ararat Community Mental Health & Wellbeing Service and provide recovery-oriented care to people experiencing significant psychological distress and mental illness. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver assessment, treatment and ongoing support while contributing to positive outcomes for consumers, carers and the wider community.
There is some On Call and Recall required and rostered weekends shifts every few weeks. Classification dependent on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide evidence-based clinical assessments and interventions
• Deliver case management and treatment planning
• Support service evaluation and continuous improvement
• Contribute to policy development and team initiatives
• Participate in crisis response, on-call and weekend rosters
• Maintain high-quality clinical documentation and care
Skills & Experience
• AHPRA registration or relevant professional qualification
• Experience in community mental health settings
• Clinical skills in assessment and treatment of mental illness
• Knowledge of relevant mental health legislation
• Leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively
