About the Role

This Senior Mental Health Clinician role offers the opportunity to provide clinical leadership within a dynamic Youth Mental Health team. Working closely with the Team Leader, you will shape clinical practice, support complex presentations, and contribute to day-to-day team coordination. The role balances hands-on clinical work with mentoring, consultation and service development, supporting high-quality, youth-focused mental health care.

 

• Provide clinical leadership within the Youth Mental Health team
• Support complex presentations and tailored care planning
• Mentor and support clinicians to build capability
• Coordinate daily clinical operations and case discussions
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement

 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary clinical practice and case reviews
• Deliver specialist mental health assessment and intervention
• Coordinate clinical workload and support team operations
• Provide consultation across primary to tertiary services
• Build effective partnerships with external agencies
• Participate in supervision, training and quality initiatives

 

Skills & Experience

• Registration in Nursing, OT, Social Work or Psychology
• Expertise in youth mental health and complex presentations
• Strong clinical leadership and mentoring capability
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Confidence using electronic clinical systems
