About the Role
The CAU Support Officer plays a key role in managing employee competency records and overseeing the annual performance appraisal process for the supplementary workforce.  This includes generating and analysing reports to ensure data accuracy across systems.

The role involves regular communication with staff and managers to provide guidance, share updates, and follow up on outstanding items.  You'll monitor progress, ensure timely completion of appraisal and competency requirements, escalate issues as needed, and coordinate payments for employees who complete mandatory competencies.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for ensuring ongoing employee competency compliance through regular monitoring, documentation, and reporting for supplementary workforce
  • Manage and monitor Performance Development Review compliance, ensuring managers complete required reviews within set timeframes that aligns with organisational standards for the supplementary workforce
  • Generate reports and insights related to competencies and performance outcomes
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of administrative systems and processes 
  • Provide general administrative support, accurately following step-by-step processes, including data entry and document management
  • Demonstrated ability to function within a team
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple priorities
  • Engages in annual performance review process to support personal development and goal alignment
  • Commitment to ongoing mandatory education

 
Skills & Experience

  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly email, Excel and Word)
  • Proficient in Excel report manipulation and data filtering
  • Thrives on being independent, confidently manages multiple priorities with a keen eye for detail
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to be able to interact with internal and external stake holders
