About the role
We're seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Officer to join our team and play a critical role in delivering strategic, compliant and proactive recruitment services across the organisation. In this role, you'll partner closely with leaders to support workforce planning, manage recruitment pipelines, resolve workforce deficits and attract high-quality talent through targeted sourcing strategies.

What you’ll do
- Work closely with managers to develop and maintain FTE planners, identifying current and future staffing requirements.
- Provide expert guidance to leaders on recruitment best practice, employment legislation, Enterprise Agreements, compliance requirements, and equitable hiring processes.
- Proactively source and headhunt candidates using platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter and SEEK Candidate Matches.
- Manage and resolve workforce shortages and recruitment deficits through targeted attraction and talent pooling.
- Support international recruitment activities, including candidate attraction and relocation support.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles via LinkedIn, Seek and SAP Success Factors.
- Deliver a positive candidate and hiring manager experience from attraction through to appointment.
- Ensure all recruitment activities are conducted in accordance with organisational policies, legislative requirements, and the principle of selecting the best person for the role.
What you’ll bring
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent recruitment experience.
- Proven experience in proactive sourcing of talent and headhunting using recruitment platforms such as SEEK and LinkedIn.
- Sound understanding of modern recruitment practices, tools, and employment legislation.
- Experience with Targeted Selection methodology (advantageous).
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a busy, dynamic environment.
- A customer-focused mindset and genuine passion for connecting people with purpose-driven careers.
