Permanent Full time | 40 hours per week including a monthly ADO

 

About the Role

Lead and support the Lived & Living Experience Workforce (LLEW) within Grampians Mental Health & Wellbeing Services. This role combines operational leadership, workforce development, and advocacy to strengthen lived experience perspectives across service delivery, co-design, and continuous improvement.

 

You will work closely with clinical leaders and multidisciplinary teams to build an inclusive, reflective, and high-performing workforce. The role also supports workforce sustainability through supervision, capability development, and fostering meaningful consumer engagement across services.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Lived Experience Workforce
• Manage staffing, workflow, and service priorities
• Provide supervision and annual performance reviews

• Contribute to co-design and service improvement work
• Support recruitment and workforce capability growth
• Promote safe, high-quality, consumer-focused care

 

Skills & Experience

• Significant lived experience of tertiary mental health care
• Leadership experience within a lived experience workforce
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Knowledge of co-design and contemporary mental health practice
• Current Driver’s Licence, WWCC, and Police Check required
