About the Role

Grampians Health Ballarat is seeking a dedicated and organised Ward Clerk to join the Paediatric and Special Care Nursery team. This role supports patient care and unit efficiency through frontline reception, clerical duties, and administrative support in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

  • Support the Paediatric and Special Care Nursery team with clerical tasks
  • Manage patient files, mail, and documentation
  • Coordinate communication between staff, patients, and service providers
  • Monitor and restock unit supplies
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and well-organised environment

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide reception, clerical, and administrative support
  • Assist with patient admissions and discharges
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Liaise with clinical staff, patients, and external providers
  • Manage supplies and equipment orders
  • Promote a safe and efficient work environment
