About the Role
This position is a permanent part-time position to replace a Medical Secretary, working at the Alan Wolff Specialist Medical Centre and Read Street GP Medical Clinic. The medical secretary provides all duties related to working in a general/specialist practice including making appointments, dealing with patients, providing accounts, banking, scanning, maintaining supplies and all general reception and other administrative duties as required.You will be working with a very supportive team in a friendly environment and liaising with medical professionals on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering incoming phone calls, dealing with enquiries and makes appointments for all doctors.
- Registers patient arrivals and direct them to the waiting room.Scan incoming documents into patient files.
- Completes billing/receipting of accounts.
- Assists other receptionists with duties as required.
- Takes direction from Practice Manager and Deputy Manager.
- All general administration duties as required.
