- Play a crucial role in managing patient flow within the Acute site and between Grampians Health campuses
- Training and ongoing support provided
- A chance to expand your skills and experience in this supportive and collaborative environment
- Rotating Rosters - Monday-Sunday with varying shift lenghths
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with all after hours clinical teams to coordinate an effective centralised bed management system
- Oversee the operations of the Horsham Campus to ensure optimal patient access and flow
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of all points of access into the campus, across Grampians Health and the Grampians region
- Ensure referrals from other health services are triaged and prioritised for admission and a timely safe transfer plan is implemented
- Keep team members focused when under pressure through role modelling a calm approach, adopting a positive outlook and offering support where necessary
Skills & Experience
- Registered Nurse or Midwife with experience in an acute hospital setting
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Relevant post graduate qualifications, management experience desirable

This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024 - 2028. The classification is Registered Nurse Grade 5 which ranges from $66.86 per hour.
