About the Role
This role offers senior responsibility within our Allied Health Assistant team, providing leadership across our care communities (residential aged care). You’ll support Allied Health Professionals to deliver high-quality therapy and coordinate smooth, consistent care. You’ll also help shape service development and guide junior staff in their growth.

  • Lead Allied Health Assistants across care communities
  • Supervise and delegate tasks under AHP direction
  • Implement therapy programs and monitor resident progress
  • Maintain effective communication with the care team and partners
  • Contribute to service planning and improvement
  • Mentor junior staff, students, and new starters

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the AHA team
  • Supervise, delegate and monitor delegated tasks
  • Deliver therapy programs following AHP direction
  • Communicate updates and issues promptly
  • Support service development and resource planning
  • Provide guidance to junior AHAs and students

 

Skills & Experience

  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent)
  • Ability to deliver therapy programs under supervision
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Confident working independently and in a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to continuous improvement
