- AHPRA registration as a physician and specialist, or eligible to apply for such.
About the role
Reporting to the Deputy Director/Head of Unit General Medicine (H&S), to provide clinical expertise in the management of General Medical Services across General Medicine at Grampians Health.
As a part of the General Medicine team, drive strategy and direction, clinical safety, quality and clinical performance within their areas of responsibility as outlined in the position description. This role will enable participation in the on-call evening and weekend roster, ward service roster and clinic when rostered.

About you
You will be suitably experienced in the field of General Medicine and be seeking a rewarding career through your contribution to a large regional tertiary referral hub and spoke health service with a growing role in teaching and the professional development of Interns, HMOs and Registrars.
As a consultant physician you will be expected to work within your scope of practice and will be subject to Grampians Health Credentialing Committee’s jurisdiction. whist working with us. You will report to the Head of Medicine for operations matters and Clinical Director, Medical Services, GH for Professional ones.
