About the role
Join a supportive team maintaining safe, vibrant outdoor spaces across Grampians Health properties. You’ll work hands‑on with a variety of equipment, assist with small installations, and help deliver a reliable, quality grounds service. This role offers variety, autonomy and the chance to support a strong community environment. This role is 40 hours per week with a monthly ADO for a fixed 2 years with an optional 2 years extension
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain gardens, lawns, fence lines, footpaths and gutters
- Manage materials, stock levels and tool upkeep
- Complete gardening tasks as directed and support daily planning
- Operate powered tools and mechanical equipment safely
- Follow OHS and infection control procedures at all times
- Communicate clearly and work cooperatively across the department
Skills & Experience
- Grounds and garden maintenance capability
- Current unrestricted driver licence
- Confident working independently
- Strong initiative and problem‑solving
- Flexible with changing work needs
