About the Role

Grampians Health are seeking an Immunisation Registered Nurse for the 2026 Influenza vaccination program, at our Horsham campus. The successful candidate will ensure the provision of an efficient and effective influenza program for all employees, volunteers and students engaged in clinical placement.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer the annual Influenza Immunisation to all employees, volunteers and students engaged in clinical placement at all levels, under the guidance of the coordinator.
  • Provide and interpret data collected on the influenza vaccinations.
  • Document all influenza vaccinations administered at Grampians Health, Horsham, on to individual Health Care Workers Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) and the SAP program.
  • Ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Adhere to infection control policies and procedures as identified in the Grampians Health Infection Control Manuals.

 

 

Skills & Experience

  • Division 1 Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration, Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Recognised Immunisation qualification, or working towards same with completion prior to 28th February 2026.
  • Current Victorian driver’s license
  • Experience in administering immunisations
