About the Role

Provide professional leadership to the pharmacy technician workforce while supporting the day‑to‑day operations of pharmacy services across Grampians Health Horsham & Stawell campuses. Working closely with pharmacists and the leadership team, you’ll ensure high‑quality, safe and efficient pharmacy services across areas including dispensary, distribution, procurement and clinical support. This role offers a mix of hands‑on technical work and team leadership, with strong opportunities to influence practice and grow technician capability.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead rostering, performance and development of technician team
  • Support dispensary operations, stock, supply and workflow
  • Coordinate training, credentialing and staff capability uplift
  • Maintain procedures, compliance and quality improvement activity
  • Manage stock control, audits, recalls and PBS processes
  • Act as key contact for dispensary queries and escalation

 

Skills & Experience

  • Certificate IV in Pharmacy Technician (or working toward)
  • Broad hospital pharmacy technician experience
  • Strong leadership, organisation and team coordination skills
  • Experience with dispensing systems (iPharmacy desirable)
  • Ability to manage stock, processes and compliance standards
