About the role
The Grade 3 Senior Clinician Physiotherapist – Women’s and Pelvic Health will support the delivery of an exciting new outpatient model of care established by the Victorian State Government as part of the rollout of 20 new Women’s Health Clinics across the State over the next four years.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop the clinic at the Horsham campus, while working more broadly with pelvic health physiotherapists across Grampians Health and the wider MDT.
Key Responsibilities
The core role of the physiotherapist will be to:

Provide advanced, evidence-based pelvic health services to improve access to best practice care for women residing in the West of the region

Provide comprehensive assessment, treatment and care planning to support self-management and connection with other multi-disciplinary team members across Grampians Health as required

Supervision of Grade 1 and 2 Physiotherapists working in Pelvic Health services

You will support the Deputy Manager in fostering team cohesion, promoting excellence, and providing leadership within the team and Allied Health Department. The role may include mentoring and supervising staff, participating in research activities, and providing education and support to staff from other disciplines
Key Selection Criteria
Essential
-
Substantial clinical experience including significant experience working in the Women’s and Pelvic Health field including, but not limited to, management of pelvic floor disorders such as pelvic organ prolapse, persistent pelvic pain, continence and post-natal presentations.

Current registration with AHPRA
Desirable

Completed or working towards a post-graduate qualification in Pelvic Health
