About the Role
We’re seeking passionate Registered Nurses to provide care across a range of Directorates including:

  • Care Communities
  • Sub Acute
  • Acute Services including:
    • Operating Suite
    • Emergency Department
    • ICU / Critical Care
    • Maternity
    • Paediatrics


Daily Support Unit staff work across Acute, Sub Acute and Care Communities to fill staffing shortfalls and unplanned high activity demands.  This position operates on a 24/7 rotating roster, requiring flexibility to work AM, PM, and Night shifts.


If your preference is to work casually, a minimum of 2 shifts per fortnight is required.


You will be an integral part of our team, you will contribute in delivering exceptional care to residents and patients, consistently upholding excellence in clinical practice and providing high quality, patient centred care that reflects our values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate availability and accepting shifts based on availability (casual)
  • Caring for a diverse range of patients and residents in varied care settings
  • Ability and willingness to provide high quality, direct care within scope of practice
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive, patient focussed outcomes
  • Documentation and updating of care plans / patient records
  • Provide accurate and timely communication with residents, visitors and staff at all levels within Grampians Health
  • Promote a positive and inclusive care environment
  • Participate in annual performance reviews
  • Commitment to ongoing mandatory education

 
Skills & Experience

  • Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain if working in Aged Care
  • Current Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
  • Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required

This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024 - 2028. The classification is Registered Nurse Grade 2 (YP2 - YP9) which ranges from $41.36 - $52.82 per hour.
