Grampians Health Horsham Dialysis Unit Nurse
Wimmera Cancer Centre- Grampians Health Horsham is seeking to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse (Division 1) to work with the Dialysis team at Horsham. As the successful candidate, you will be a registered nurse with a passion for best practice evidenced based care and a thirst to learn. Experience is preferred, however full training will be given to the right person.
What you’ll be doing
The role of the Registered Nurse is to work collaboratively with the Nurse Unit Manager and the multidisciplinary team to facilitate and foster the provision of best practice standards of nursing care and service delivery that meets the needs of the Patient / Residents, their families and carers.
You will demonstrate expert knowledge and clinical skills and a strong management focus in the clinical unit/department/area of responsibility.
You will be accountable and responsible for clinical coordination and resource management of unit/department/area of responsibility on a shift-to-shift basis.

- Dialysis Unit experience.
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated understanding of the physical, and psychological needs of patients.
- Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills and the ability to provide, information and education effectively to patients, families, and carers.
- Demonstrated effective organisational and time management skills and the capacity to successfully manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
