Are you a Registered Nurse with at least five years experience, and hold a post‑graduate qualification looking to consolidate your emergency nursing skills in a supportive, well‑resourced regional hospital?

Grampians Health is seeking motivated RN Grade 2 Emergency Nurses to join our dedicated Emergency Department team in Horsham. You’ll work alongside experienced clinicians in a fast‑paced environment where your clinical judgement, autonomy and teamwork truly matter.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will:

• Deliver high‑quality, patient‑centred emergency care across a broad case‑mix
• Work within a 24/7 rotating roster including weekends and nights
• Apply sound clinical assessment and decision‑making skills in acute situations
• Collaborate within a strong multidisciplinary team
• Be supported to maintain and advance emergency‑specific competencies

What We’re Looking For

You will bring:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Division 1 Registered Nurse
• Minimum 5 years experience, as a Division 1 Registered Nurse
• Demonstrated experience in Emergency Department settings, including:
• Triage and clinical prioritisation
• Resuscitation and critical care management
• Care of ventilated and high‑acuity patients
• Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma in Emergency or Acute Care (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) or willingness to obtain
• Strong communication, clinical reasoning and time‑management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment
• Confidence using clinical information systems and technology
