About the role
We are seeking Registered Nurses to join our dedicated team at Grampians Health – Horsham Campus. These permanent full or part-time positions include working a rotating 7-day, 24 hour roster including participation in an on-call roster.
The successful applicant will provide general surgical, medical and paediatric service. Please indicate in your application how many hours you are interested in.
- Is responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating evidence-based nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal healthcare outcomes for people of all ages and cultural group.
- Practice independently and interdependently assuming accountability and responsibility for their own actions and the delegation of care to other healthcare workers as required
- Contribute to quality healthcare through personal and professional development, research data, clinical supervision and development of policy and clinical practice guidelines.
Skills and experience
Essential:
- Current Division 1 Nursing Registration with AHPRA
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Commitment to continuous quality improvement, customer service and patient centered care
- Proficiency in the use of information technology
- Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment
Desirable:
- Relevant post graduate nursing qualification i.e. paediatrics, neonatal nursery
- Drivers Licence

This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024 - 2028. The classification is Registered Nurse Grade 2 (YP2 - YP9) which ranges from $42.60 - $54.40 per hour.
