About the Role
Grampians Health – Horsham is seeking a passionate Grade 2 Speech Pathologist to join our growing team. You will provide paediatric and adult clinical care across acute, subacute, community and care community settings, with the chance to build capability in VFSS, FEES and paediatric feeding.
This role offers flexibility to tailor your caseload to your interests, while supporting leadership, supervision and quality improvement skills within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver specialist assessment, diagnosis and intervention for paediatric and adult clients
• Provide care across acute, subacute, community, outpatient and care community programs as required
• Ensure continuity of care through clear communication and liaison with families, teams and services
• Maintain documentation, data entry and clinical standards in line with GH requirements
• Participate in supervision, orientation, clinical education and support of junior staff and students
• Lead or contribute to quality improvement, service development and evidence-based practice activities
Skills & Experience
• Degree in Speech Pathology and eligibility for SPA Certification (full or provisional)
• Skilled in assessing and managing communication and swallowing needs across adult and paediatric caseloads
• Strong communicator able to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
• Organised, adaptable and able to manage competing priorities
• Commitment to professional development, reflective practice and GH values
• Current driver licence
