Are you an experienced administrator with strong leadership skills and a passion for healthcare? Grampians Health Stawell is seeking an Administration Coordinator to support our Allied Health and Ambulatory Care teams in a collaborative, job-share role.

 

Grampians Health Stawell is situated at the foothills of the Grampians National Park and heart of the Grampians wine region. It is the ideal place to start exploring what the Grampians National Park has to offer including hiking, rock climbing, fishing and water sports. Stawell has a rich sporting history and is host of the oldest foot race in Australia- the Stawell Gift. It is a bustling and thriving community, within 2.5 hours drive of Melbourne. 

 

About the Role

The Allied Health and Ambulatory Care departments at Stawell provide a wide range of services such as Allied Health, Specialist outpatient clinics and Rehabilitation services.

In this role you will job share responsibilities for administration operations, coordination of staff rosters and leave, training and development, and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the Allied Health and Ambulatory care services.

We are seeking a candidate who thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment, is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, and is ready to take the next step into a senior administration role.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated high level of customer service skills with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in high level administrative processes, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated experience in supervising staff, including roster and leave management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to maintain strong, effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated willingness to develop self and others and identify areas for improvement.
  • Confidence in responding to, managing and escalating conflict.
  • A strong understanding of principles relating to confidentiality, and the ability to understand patient rights and responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills to achieve optimum results in all aspects of work
  • Undertaking or working towards Certificate / Diploma level qualification in administration.
  • Previous experience with Clinical applications e.g. Patient Administration Systems (iPM), Digital/Electronic Medical records (BOSSnet) and rostering
