About the Role

Join the Grampians Health Stawell as an Administration Officer supporting Macpherson Smith Residential Care. This vital role involves a welcoming presence for residents, visitors and staff, while delivering exceptional reception and administrative support. This combines reception responsibilities with administrative support, including managing phone calls and enquiries, assisting in admissions, ensuring timely filing and overall support for the team.

Administration officer shifts are Monday - Friday from 8:00am and 4:30pm, with no weekend work. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing professional reception duties
  • Providing a high standard of administrative support
  • Accurate data entry and filing
  • Admission and discharges of residents
  • Participation in an annual performance review
  • Commitment to ongoing mandatory education

 

Skills & Experience

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships within a team environment
  • Strong computer skills
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Demonstrated person centred care and respectful approach to residents, visitors and staff
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks
  • Prior experience in a health care setting would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Current Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain
