Administrator Officer - Elective Surgical Information System (ESIS)

40 hours per week (with a monthly ADO)
HS1A – HS1 ($27.75 - $32.69 per hour)
About the Role
Grampians Health Stawell is currently seeking an Administration Officer to work with the Pre-admission Department to support the effective operation of the Elective Surgery Information System (ESIS). The Administrator Officer plays a key role in supporting the implementation and documentation requirements of ESIS. This position is supported by a dedicated team of Administration Co-ordinators and Nurse Unit Managers.
We are seeking a highly motivated employee who has attention to detail, organisational and data entry skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a point of contact.
- Maintain accurate and timely data withing the Elective Surgery Information System.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and data entry skills
- Manage patient information across multiple patient management systems.
- Practices in a manner that supports and promotes Grampian Health core values
- Opportunity to upskill and work across other administration roles where service needs are identified.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a healthcare related facility with knowledge of clinical applications is desirable.
- High level of computer literacy including Microsoft Office and Patient Administration Systems.
- Excellent work ethic and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of customer service skill.
- Proven ability to problem solve and prioritise workload
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and attention to detail
