About the Role

Grampians Health is seeking an Engagement Coordinator to join our team and help strengthen the way we engage with our staff, consumers, and the wider Stawell community. Reporting to the Director Engagement and working closely with our Communications, Volunteers and Fundraising teams, you will play a key part in strengthening relationships, building trust, and creating meaningful engagement that supports collaboration and advances Grampians Health’s strategic priorities. Based out of our Stawell campus, strong local knowledge and community connection are essential to driving success in this role.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Engagement Team to deliver communication and engagement activities that support Grampians Health’s strategic directions.
  • Create and manage content across traditional and digital platforms while supporting the organisation’s media plan, including coordinating media activity when required.
  • Collaborate with staff on project‑based communications and fundraising campaigns.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local community organisations and groups connected to current and future donors.
  • Respond to donor enquiries and keep them informed about fundraising activities.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Qualifications such as a Diploma of Marketing, or equivalent experience in fundraising, communications, marketing, community development or a related field, are highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply strong local knowledge of the Stawell community, and connections to effectively engage, communicate, and build relationships with a wide range of audiences.
  • Strong skills in writing, editing, proofreading, photography and videography for a range of audiences are highly desirable.
  • Experience or knowledge in developing, implementing and monitoring communications, media and fundraising campaigns would be an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
