About the Role
Grampians Health is looking for an experienced and motivated IT Service Desk Operator to join the IT team at our Stawell campus. This fully onsite role supports a busy healthcare environment across regional Victoria by providing high-quality IT assistance while helping build strong local connections across the organisation and community.
If you are someone with experience in a fast-paced IT support or MSP environment, who can confidently manage high volumes of calls and tickets while delivering excellent customer service we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for IT support requests for the campus
- Act as the first point of contact receiving and managing incoming calls and tickets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests within agreed service levels
- Manage competing priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced service desk environment
- Provide onsite support when required, assisting field technicians with device setup, troubleshooting and deployments
- Escalate more complex issues when required and contribute to continuous improvement
Skills & Experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced IT support or MSP environment
- Strong ability to manage high call volumes and ticket queues effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proven troubleshooting skills and a structured approach to incident resolution
- Experience working with ITSM tools and following support processes
- A proactive, adaptable, team-oriented approach
- Willingness to support onsite activities and work closely with field technicians when needed
- Willingness to be based in regional Victoria – a few hours west of Melbourne and support a local community through meaningful, onsite service delivery.
