About the role
We are seeking a Medical Record Clerk to join our dedicated Health Information Services (HIS) team at our Stawell campus. This fixed term full time position (job share considered) is available for an immediate start and includes working between Monday to Friday. This role involves ensuring the maintenance and availability of the clinical record to clinicians and facilitate the flow of information to both internal and external customers. 

 

Skills & Experience

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated organisational, planning and prioritising skills
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficient in use of information technology, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Electronic Mail
  • Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team

 

Desirable:

  • Experience in the Health Sector
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
