About the Role
Grampians Health Stawell has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and professional Receptionist/Administration Clerk to join our busy Radiology Department. You will be part of a supportive and experienced team providing administrative support across a comprehensive medical imaging service, including X-ray, CT, Ultrasound and Echocardiography.
The department supports patients across all age groups and works closely with community members, the Urgent Care Centre and acute hospital services. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-based environment and takes pride in delivering high quality customer service. Administrative experience from any industry is welcomed, with on-the-job training provided.
A day in the life
• Provide reception and administrative support within the Radiology Department
• Schedule appointments and manage patient bookings and referrals
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
• Deliver high quality customer service to patients, families and staff
• Order supplies and assist with the day-to-day coordination of the department
• Collaborate with radiographers, sonographers and administration staff to support efficient service delivery
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a positive patient experience
Skills & Experience
• Previous administration or reception experience in any industry
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment
• High level communication and organisational skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
