About the Role
Grampians Health Stawell has two operating theatres used Monday to Friday with no on-call requirements. We provide a wide range of surgical services by our visiting surgeons, including general, gynaecological, orthopaedic, endoscopy, ENT, urology, and ophthalmology. Our team is supported by a dedicated education team, an infection control manager, and regional support networks.
We are seeking applications from Registered Nurses to provide high-quality, safe perioperative nursing care that aligns with Australian College of Perioperative Nursing (ACORN) Standards. This role is an excellent opportunity to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Work across all areas of the perioperative environment.

- Contribute innovative ideas to improve patient care and service delivery.

- Communicate effectively and work both autonomously and within a team.
- Escalate concerns regarding patient safety, risks, or equipment issues.
Skills & Experience
- Registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Division 1.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Perioperative Nursing preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and prioritise workload effectively.
- Self-motivated with a strong commitment to patient care.

This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024 - 2028. The classification is Registered Nurse Grade 2 (YP2 - YP9) which ranges from $40.15 - $50.68 per hour.
